Dapibuset Secures Funding for Commercial-Scale Validation
Dapibuset has been awarded funding from Jordbruksverket (The Swedish Board of Agriculture), marking the final validation phase ahead of full-scale commercial deployment. This project is a strategic step designed to resolve the remaining technical and operational questions that precede broader market rollout.
Technical Milestones: Engineering for Real-World Performance
Commercial success depends on consistent and predictable operations under everyday conditions. In this phase, we will be validating system performance during daily farm operations to confirm reliability and robustness over time.
The high-fidelity data generated will directly inform future deployment strategies and partnership models. In parallel, we are working with EMV Stainless AB to optimize equipment design based on hands-on field testing, ensuring durability and operational fit in real production environments.

The support from Jordbruksverket serves a dual purpose: commercial validation and proof of unit-economics.

What This Phase Unlocks
Completing this validation phase enables Dapibuset to move from site-specific pilots to standardized deployments. It provides the technical and commercial confidence required to enter early commercial agreements, refine pricing and operating models, and accelerate partner onboarding — all essential prerequisites for scalable rollout across multiple sites and markets.

About the Project
This project is co-funded by the European Union through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EIP-AGRI) and the Swedish Board of Agriculture (Jordbruksverket).
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to demonstrate that farmers can produce sustainable, high-value concentrate feed on their own farms using modular fermentation technology and locally available agricultural side streams, reducing dependence on imported commodities while strengthening Europe’s food resilience.
Objectives
The project will:
- Validate the technology under real farm conditions.
- Demonstrate that the fermentation system operates reliably over extended periods.
- Verify nutritional performance, environmental benefits and economic viability.
- Generate the scientific and technical evidence required for commercial deployment.
Results To Date
- The modular fermentation platform has been successfully deployed at pilot scale.
- Long-term validation under farm conditions is underway.
- The project has confirmed the feasibility of converting agricultural side streams into valuable feed ingredients through fermentation.
- The project continues to generate technical, nutritional and operational data to support commercial deployment.

Dapibuset is also participating in an EIP-Agri Initiative supported by Jordbruksverket to explore the application of our fermentation technology to rapeseed cake production in collaboration with Gunnarshögs Gård.
